There is a known issue affecting the Windows version of Auto-Tune EFX+ on some PC systems with older graphics cards that do not have sufficient OpenGL support. The issue causes the GUI screen of Auto-Tune EFX+ to be blank, as shown below:

I found out why the screen turns black when I login on my personal account. It appears I have accidentally pushed a button that toggles between monitors/beamers when connected. When nothing is connected to the laptop the build-in screen still turns off. This is done by pressing Fn+F8. This is applicable for the Asus R500V series.

1. Quit your recording software and download the attached patch installer: 'Install Auto-Tune EFX+ XML Patch v1.0.0.zip'


2. Extract (unzip) and run the installer. Click through all the screens to perform a standard installation.


3. Once the installation is complete, restart your recording software and load Auto-Tune EFX+. At this point the GUI screen should now be visible.
